Paris in blue

Time passes, but Paris doesn’t. Paris has the power to make you feel like if you were born in a different decade, with its classic façades, the book vendors next to the Seine, the cute coffee shops… it is simply different from anywhere else in the world. Paris makes you want to dress up for the occasion, and dressing up doesn’t necessarily mean wearing etiquette clothing. You can put together a classy tourist look with things you already have in your closet.

For me, some of the best outfits come from all basic clothing + one eye-catching accessory or piece. That’s how I put together this look, just thinking practically: Going to walk a lot? Comfy Waterproof Chelsea Boots. Cold and windy climate? Grab a cute fitted coat with a round neck and some thights. Your base outfit is done! Now, I’m in love with neckerchiefs. For me, they are the epitome of classy-cool and also, they’re immensely versatile (while always giving the parisian girl vibe). You can wear them with jeans, with shorts, with classier outfits and even at the beach, with your bathing suit! Not a lot of accessories are able to pull that off.

This coat also has its own stage. It’s simple yet eye-catching. The metal details combine perfectly with the tweed-like fabric, making any other accessories superfluous. The best part? It’s an H&M piece! (Props up to them and their coat designers. Some of the last seasons coats’ have been truly amazing!)

As always, I’d love to hear how you’d style these pieces or similar ones! Bisous!
